Group Halloween plans

It’s still officially summer, but school is back in session which means that Halloween – my favorite holiday – is just around the corner. I love bingeing on candy and watching horror flicks on wild blue, but my favorite part is dressing up in Halloween costumes.

I’m too old to go trick or treating but one of my friends always throws a costume party , so I have a valid excuse to go all out. Luckily for my friends, I have a sewing machine that I get a lot of use out of so we normally go dressed in a group theme. I normally make them buy their own fabric and supplies, and I’ll sew the stuff for them for free as long as they agree to whatever theme I choose. It’s worth it in the end. This year I just shared my idea of going as characters of the Flintstones. Everyone’s on board as usual, and I spent the weekend studying the costumes from the Flintstones movies on wildblue internet so I can recreate them. I also went ahead and found some sewing patterns on satellite internet that I’m going to adjust a bit to fit me and my friends better.

This Halloween I think we’re going to have a Yabba Dabba Doo time!
